Anger Management

Overview:

Anger Management is an evidence-based, cognitive behavior intervention. During a 3-week series of classroom, interactive weekly sessions, Anger Management teaches 2nd through 4th grade children how to identify and deal with anger and underlying feelings of anger. Through experiential activities and lessons, they explore the definition of anger, the triggers, the underlying causes and recognize it in others.  They also learn essential coping skills to manage these emotions.

Anger Management builds on students’ experience with Turtle Time but can also stand alone.
