Alternative Counseling Resources
1. Emergency/High Risk Care: If you or someone you know is in a mental health crisis, suicidal, and needs immediate help:
a. Call the San Diego County Access and Crisis Line at (888) 724-7240. Trained professionals are available 24/7, or
b. Text “HOME” to 741741 to reach a Crisis Counselor, providing access to free, 24/7 support over text.
c. If emergency medical care is needed, call 9-1-1 or go to the emergency room of the nearest hospital.
2. CUSD Students, Staff & their families
Care Solace: Mental health concierge service for students, staff and their families. In support of ongoing commitment to the well-being of our learning community, CUSD partnered with Care Solace, a mental health care coordination service that works with school districts to make mental health services easily accessible. If you or a family member is looking for help with mental health services, Care Solace will quickly connect you to providers matched to your needs.

If you have behavioral/mental health insurance, contact your insurance company for assistance and for a list of possible providers.
